Goodbye ToQGer....... I'm actually gonna miss you.
Mediocre, bland piece of shit series. I streamed the last episode and my thoughts were, decent fighting but still so so. The roll call was decent. Didn't hit me in the chest like most others did. Probably because i'm happy to see this series go. Overall I give ToQger a 2/10. The main characters were boring, suits weak, mecha weak, secondary characters were awful, Villains were the actual saving grace. Good bye and good riddance.
Farewell ToQger! It was a great ride =')
As weird as the series was when it began, it actually ended up being a fun ride. I thoroughly enjoyed it.
Now for the Ninja to take the stage!
I really love toqger because if their songs and hilarious moments. Thanks for the awesome ride. Looking forward for the next trip. :')
See you later Toqger!
IIIMMMAAAAAGGGGIIIIINAAAATTTIIIIOOONNN!!
toq is definitely not over yet after the Zet scene
@Anon February 17, 3:12am...
I know you hated the show, but I bet you whacked off to pics of Riria Baba and Ai Moritaka... Unless of course, it turns out you were whacking off to pics of Jun Shison.
If you think you can do better than Toei, why don't YOU produce your own Super Sentai show.
Have fun :)
@anonymous4: Yes it's very apparent your hate the series with your very colorful comments full of expletives on every ToQger post lol. But I can respect your opinion.
I personally enjoyed the series very much and going to miss it. But I am very excited for Ninninger. Ahhh the bittersweet feeling after a Sentai or Kamen Rider series ends...
Alright. I stopped watching somewhere after the Cho Cho DaiToQOh debut. is it worth finishing the series?
Because it's a good Sentai season jackass.
I believe so.
Overall, I thought Tokkyuger was pretty decent. Not my favorite, but passable. I like what it was trying to do and the ideas it was going for, but I felt that its number one problem was that it didn't quite go far enough with those ideas. Its whole theme was imagination, but other sentai that have come before were far more imaginative in their execution. i think it should've tried harder to push the boundaries a little.
Also, it had WAY too many fillers! It could've easily benefited from several more plot-related eps, cause when those episodes did come around, they were really good. (Like, they could've dedicated 2 eps to the shadows taking over the terminal instead of one!) Even though this finale was good, it felt like the stakes weren't raised quite high enough.
I hope Sekai Ninja Sen Jiraiya makes a guest appearance in the next Super Sentai show.
YES like every Sentai!!
Clanaad I can understand getting emotional over but this train wreck? You have to be emotionally invested in the charecters to get emotional for this weak ending to a weak series. I'm glad this shit tier Sentai is over.
The fillers in the second half are horrible. You're better off just skipping to the last 5 episodes and maybe episode 37 with ToQ-Rainbow's debut I think. And that's it.
I thought finale was a bit disappointing cause it didn't fill final. One of the main stories was zet searching for a shine of his own. To me, he should've either found it, decided he didn't want it, or something other than just failing to defeat Toqgers. The ending felt like a big midseason episode ending more than finale. If they're going to do more they should've done it here, not in a DVD special or the next teamup movie.
As for the series, I thought it had a lot of promise but tailed off mid season. I liked the imagination & silliness of the beginning of season, and that seemed to disappear as the story got darker instead of being decreased.
Also, I felt pink & green never got enough character development.
