Here's a good news that will make your day great: Ricardo Medina, former Power Ranger Actor (Wildforce and Samurai) is now cleared of the murder charge that was filed against him.
According to the testimonies of Medina's friends, Ricardo was entering his room at their Green Valley home in the 38000 Block of San Francisquito Canyon Road with his girlfriend at the time and Joshua Sutter broke into the room. Ricardo stabbed him in the abdomen with a sword in order to defend himself against his former roommate and protect his girlfriend. Ricardo immediately notified the authorities and after further examination, the district attorney rejected the case. Ricardo is expected to be released later today.

sounds like its a case of a person being put in a difficult situation. None of us know what may happen when violence altercations happen. At least he will not have to deal with a trial =whats more concerning is how he will feel about what happened i hope he will be ok.
He hasn't been cleared yet. Prosecutors are holding off on charging him until an investigation is complete.

Glad that the charges were dropped, but he still has to live with the trauma of the incident, and that shakes a person to their very core. I hope he gets help to deal with the tragedy, and Sutter's friends and family cope with their loss.
That's excellent news. Though the death of his roommate will way heavy on him for the rest of his life.
Umm... what? The guy stabbed him with a sword, thats a bit overkill for self defence, I know people who went to jail for less in the name of self defence

He had a sword handy and used it to defend himself & friends. If he used a gun would that have been any better? Dead is dead
What matters when claiming self defence is the force used, and whether that force was proportionate to the situation at hand, not what weapon was used.
If he had used a gun the nra would have a new poster child. He would be invited to Congress with republicans wanting photo ops. Should have used a gun.

I am fan of Cole and I want him to be cleared of murder charges, but lets wait for the forensic investigation result if it really was self-defense. He could be charged with capital murder if the forensic evidence contradict his story of self defense.
Unfortunately we will never truly know, why Sutter broke into his room? A suprize? Looking for something he left behind? One of the scariest things, to kill someone you respect out of a freak accident/ misunderstanding.
