I'm getting real damn sick of Takaharu. A combination of Red-focused episodes and his bad acting is making this show pretty bad. Seriously, look at his eyes when he shouts, they're dead.
So I'm not the only one seeing the dead eyes. Good.
Takaharu is a discount, watered-down Daigo fused with the most obnoxious elements of Gentaro from Fourze. Hell, Taka's catch phrases seem like a fusion of Daigo's and Genta's. There is nothing original about him. He's the same head-strong, over-confident, gotta-do-everything-myself red that we got with Daigo and Right. What annoys me the most is how the other Ninningers see nothing wrong with his behavior. "Oh, Taka's charging into battle again, refusing to listen to reason or use actual ninja tactics. We'll lightly scold him then just let things work out like they always do."
Hey, Toei! How about a red who lacks confidence, doesn't want leadership of the team, but his heart is in the right place and he builds confidence and self-esteem over time instead of charging into leadership of the team and pretending he knows every-damn-thing, forcing his friends to clean up the mess. It seems Toei reacts to character development the same way Hiromu reacts to chickens.
Why would want a red who lacks confidence? That sounds like a senchi that just whines and bitches all time and I got enough of that from alata. Case and point, I would rather see an annoyingly energetic red senchi that slowly becomes a good leader than a red senchi that doesn't want to be senchi in the first damn place

@anonymous last I checked Alata did not bitch or whine at all, in fact he was one of the more positive and nice guy reds.
This series has turned out to be a huge dissapoinment. It's not as bad as Tocrapture but it's getting there. Atleast the chicks are hot this season.
