As someone that loved Toqger, I understand that i'm holding some bias. However Ninninger thus far has been poor. Unlike the previous sentai, there's far less team unity, and even seemingly bonds. Yes, the Igasakis are family, but only Taka seems important currently, with the others merely acting as support. That's not how a Sentai is supposed to function. What little focus has been given to other members has often had Taka STILL take center stage, even for a few moments. And unlike Daigo, who could at the least back up his claims of being "King" Taka's got the spirit for fighting, but not the ability.

Further, his actor's acting is flat. All of these can change in the future of course, and i'm hopeful. However at least up to this point, the prior team is still my favorite.

Now to move on. Surfermaru looks great, though the face it gives Shurikenjin is freaky as hell. Chozetsu should prove interesting, and Tsumuji dressing and training as a ninja should prove interesting. (as should his color, which looks to be silver...)

Here's hoping that with a new general, the show picks up and shows what a family of ninjas can do!

I think the face plate is supposed to look like shark's teeth.

It looks okay from afar, though. - Buy Video Games for Consoles and PC - From Japan, Korea and other Regions
