After Kamen Rider Drive's fan favorite gimmick, the Shift Cars, a new rumor has surfaced regarding the Ghost Driver's gimmick and it involves dolls. Yes, you just saw it. Dolls.

If this is true, it sounds a lot like a combination of Den-O and Gokaigers. Each doll allows him to transform into a different form. Could be cool if done properly.
With stuff like Amiibos being a thing right now, I think it's definitely plausible.

That makes sense, if you know about Japanese Straw Dolls and Shikigami. It sounds like they're referring to that more so than porcelain or plastic. Straw dolls are made with something that contains the essence of an individual in order to link to their soul and curse them, while shikigami are possessed by spirits that are controlled by the will of the summoner. Straw dolls and Shikigami paper dolls would have more of a suitable shape that would fit in a driver, as well. Of the two, shikigami makes a bit more sense.
(I can see some people are saying it's ridiculous and will never happen, and the picture of a baby doll doesn't really help with that, but remember when everyone debunked that Gaim's belt would use a knife to cut fruit in half on the grounds that it was stupid? How did that turn out?)
This screams KR Blade . Defeat the motw , capture it in a card & boom , you have a new skill . In this case it'll be the eye of the doll maybe ? I don't think he's going to whip out a full on doll figurine , haha . Cool idea none the less , let's hope it's done right , could make for some great moments during the series .
Is it gonna work like Fourze's switches but you insert a small figurine or like a cursed item into the driver belt and transform into that particular ghost that is connected to that cursed item? That would be one of the best ways.

Honestly, I think the stamps idea would work better (like how Beast used his rings on his Driver). But if they did paper dolls like someone suggested earlier, I can go with that.
While I'm holding out for how the gimmicks will work this time, there's some potential in this one. I just hope that the storyline will not go back to being dark and edgey like Faiz, Blade, or Gaim (all of them are good, but they left depressing endings at the finale).

Hopefully the character design is as scary as the rumor..
Potential mid season climax: KR Ghost defeats a strong motw, and the next time he trying to use the power, he then found out that the motw was purposely defeated by ghost in order to possess him and turn him into a villain...
But for sure it will represent the number 8 :)
