That ending sucked. And Droves ending was so dismal. Krill deserved so much,I will now forget this cruddy,lame show ever existed.
I don't think enough is seen here to really say whether that was a good ending or not.
I have to say that was a decent ending for Kamen Rider Drive. It wasn't the best and the most perfect Kamen Rider series and it had its ups and down but I say it did a decent job, especially after having to come after Kamen Rider Gaim which is almost worshiped right now. Thanks for the memories Kamen Rider Drive! I can't wait to see how Kamen Rider Ghost would turn out.
^ Ehh, I have no problem watching last week's episode of Drive (I'm only stick on TV-N for final episode of Drive, so I'll just wait even if it takes time to complete it), though I had to agreed, ending was sucked, it feels so bland even added with Krim's final speech and Global Freeze aftermath, it doesn't feel any surprise here.
The only ending I can appreciate the most was father vs. son (Gou vs. Banno) scene where Gou furiously unleashes his anger and destroy Banno's Driver like a bawse. Other after that episode, it feels like rushy and there's nothing interesting to watch around. But yeah, even the ending was lame, I still enjoy it no matter what.
Lesson learned: You'll never expect any epic moments at the climax episode of any Rider series. It's just a typical "Rider wins and happily ever after" trope which has been used since the first Rider released in 1971. But that's just my opinion, your opinion might be differ than mine, so if you got any review you want to express about this episode, you may give your own opinion and prove to me that I'm wrong.
While this ending maybe not the best, let be honest here, this is the best unnecessary ending out the three. I can see alot of thing that's wrong with this, like having the action scenes come from flashback and Ghost, shamlessly plug Ghost into this, and play the good old happy ever after card. But looking back, Wizard built a stupid rider mythology, Gaim use the chachacter from the soccer movie (bad move), so eventho all three unneccerary ending purpose was just have the character move on with there life, atleast Drive does it the least offensive by having Drive meet the person who he gonna meet in the future KR X KR anyway
