Dobutsu Sentai Juohger - Logo, Changer & Sidearm Revealed

And finally, we now have a full view for the Dobutsu Sentai Juohger series logo along with the team's very unique changer and main sidearm.

The logo a very 80's and modern look vibe about it. You can almost see that it was copied from Choujuu Sentai Liveman.

As for the changer itself, the Juoh Changer is designed after a rubik's cube where the owner must solve the puzzle to transform and can also transform into a mobile phone as Mr.S of CSToys revealed.

And lastly, the main ranger sidearm, the Juoh Buster (ehem... Ridebooker), has 2 modes: a gun ( blue cube) and a sword (red cube). Transformation depends on which cube is placed first.

The eagle on the bottom of the logo reminds me of Shocker from Kamen Rider

As we get clearer images, the helmets are starting to look much better. The logo is very reminiscent of Liveman which I kind of like. Henshin device seems to be odd at first but it's pretty unique. I just wish that the suits has something on them that could match with their device and mecha's, because looking at them, there is no way that I'll think that they use blocks.

Hmmm... it does look better and better the more I see it. But I will still wait for the teaser before I decide to see this or not.
Then again, it's an anniversary series, and they are usually good (Bouken, Gokai), so I might end seeing it just for the sake of that.

Of course it's childish. It is literally a show for children.

  7. Rubik's cubes? Old school style title card? Simplistic looking suits? WELCOME BACK TO THE '80s!

  8. i like it a lot !! I'm an old school fan so it's all good to me :p
I hope we could see some come back from Liveman, Gaoranger like Hurricanger and Kakuranger did in Ninningers.
Can't wait to see the casting :D

Man I hate it when people keep saying things like "it's a kid shown." I mean they are definitely not wrong for saying it but the way they are saying it's like they think it's a show that is on the same kiddie level wit teletubbies or something. Both sentai and Kamen rider are indeed for kids but they were never able scared to shy away from death and compelling storis making it watchable for adults and kids; for example: Jetman. Liveman, maskman, kamen rider black, black rx, agito, ryuki, faiz and so on. The best example of a modern toku that was able to show kid like elements and and mature story telling was Gaim.

I understand that these are indeed kids show but don't think that it was not able to tell a mature content.

Shaping up to be an interesting series. As long as they don't beat us over the head with the anniversary stuff (Gokaiger) I will definitely watch. Bring on the trailer!
