Feels more likely that Keeper will be the silver ranger. He's essentially playing a similar role to torin. And they show him as not only a zordon-like mentor but as a fighter.

So I think it's likely he will get one of two last energems.

Also, while this season is far from perfect kudos to the PR team. For the first time in neo-saban I don't feel like I'm watching a sentai rebelling with American actor (samurai, mega force) or a lazy hodgepodge of spliced together clips (super mega force).

They put together an original storyline, actually have multiple scenes aside from cockpit with original footage, and even threw in some new cgi zord scenes. Yeah the CGI zords aren't quite as good as the kyoryuger version but kids won't notice at all, and at times it's difficult even for me to tell. Incorporating them into the stories gives a fresh feel (the ptera rescue, plezio docking to ship). I even like how they use cgi to make keepers eyes blink. It's a nice touch kids won't notice to make the mask look more real.

My only gripes about the season is I'm not sold on sledge as the villain just yet. They're trying to give him that comedy/nasty balance that lord zedd had in season 3 and I think he's too far the comedy side. His design reminds me a bit of zedd as well with the mask and gravelly voice, but I think he looks too stumpy and slow to be menacing. But it's a kids show so they might think he's close enough.

I'm also not a huge fan of the red ranger. I like all the others, especially doing something different with gray than knotty get to explain his limited screen time. Red's acting just seems a little stunted for me. Also and I know he can't help it, I don't like his voice. It's just so high pitched I keep thinking Justin from turbo is in the suit.

Otherwise good series so far. Curious what they do in season 2.

There's still rumors that w veteran ranger will be silver. Have they ever shown a pic of the dad?

I'm not so sure they'll use the father, or if they do he'll have to be recast, since the actor who appears in Tyler's photo died shortly after filming started.

According to the toy line, the Aqua Ranger found his Energem on an expedition several years ago and has been feuding with Fury since then. Signs point to Tyler's dad being Aqua.

I think Torin will be the Silver Ranger. Even though Keeper has taken his place as the mentor for Dino Charge, the Torin suit is just so much better and more heroic for a Ranger alter-ego. I'm thinking PRDC Torin will be a monster on Sledge's ship but he'll be good at heart and turn against Sledge and join the Rangers.

They might even use the Mad Torin and Torin suits as two forms of the same character. With Mad Torin being his first form and the regular Torin suit being the new form he gains after becoming good.
