WOW. Seeing the Kakuranger version of this scene makes it so... boring. The version from MMPR was much more exciting, but that just could be because the stakes are higher and there's a copious amount of Ron Wasserman music involved.
Somehow Gashadokuro's death reminds me of Undertale
I highly agree on MMPR being much better, at being energetic, and also the "back in the game" mood going on. I think the effect works moreso since we just saw him turn the Thunderzords into scrap...which probably traumatized a good chunk of us. So to see them utterly shaming Rito like this, you really do feel that the good guys are back and better than before!
