I assumed that Yamato got his gorilla power from the fact that as a human, he's the evolution of the primate. But now it explains how he got the eagle's power, because as a kid he was in dire straights from falling of a cliff face. The eagle man gave him his power to recover his leg as a kid, and had the eagle power in the before entering Zyuland.

However, that suit...

I was scared that they were going to use CGI to portray Zyugorilla, but nope, let's use an inflatable suit instead! Urgh...

Hopefully when this get localised in the west, they'll use a beefed up wrestler as the suit actor!

showing this power on a Blood Game Team Leader and defeating him seems bad for writing. They're already powerful than a DeathGalleon team leader, or it seems.

@Grifforzer W: I imagine that Azald isn't done yet, for two reasons:

1) His cube motif. Given that cubes are a major design quirk for the Zyumans and they called attention to Azald's look when the team saw him for the first time, I imagine there's some significance to it.
2) The fact that he didn't get a continue. It could imply that he doesn't need one.
3) He scattered when he was defeated, normally there'd be next to nothing left, but this time it was his cubes scattering.

Maybe he just respawns and loses a point or two, who knows?
