MMPR The Movie 2017 - Movie Plot & Staff Revealed


After the movie has started filming, Saban and Lionsgate has finally released the official plot for next year's Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers movie reboot plus get to know the important people behind the movie.

Official movie plot:

"Saban’s Power Rangers follows five ordinary high school kids who must become something extraordinary when they learn that their small town of Angel Grove – and the world – is on the verge of being obliterated by an alien threats. Chosen by destiny, our heroes quickly discover that they are the only ones who can save the planet. But to do so they will have to overcome their real-life issues and band together as the Power Rangers before it is too late."

As for the movie's staff, here are the list:

Writers - John Gantins ((Kong: Skull Island), Burk Sharpless and Matt Sazama (Dracula Untold), Zack Stentz and Ashley Miller (X-men Fist Class), Max Landis (Chronicles).

Producers - Haim Saban, Wyck Godfrey and Marty Bowen (Maze Runner).

Executive Producers - Allison Shearmur (The Hunger Games) and Brent O' Connor (Warcraft).

Music Composer - Bryan Tyler (Avengers: Age of Ultron).

Costume Desogn - Kelli Jones (Straight outta Campton).

Stunt Coordinatot - Paul Jennings (The Dark Knight, Game of thrones).

Visual Effects - Weta Workshop (Lord of the Rings).


Directed by Dean Israelite, Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers The Movie will premiere next year, March 24, 2017.

    How nice of them to actually HAVE real-life issues.
    This could be the MMPR that completely outshines the original.

    So the official movie plot is - the description of the power rangers first season?

    BIG WHOOP. It isn't so much a "reveal", more like - "here's something vague and unoriginal".


  5. The lack of Japanese staffs in Power Rangers production is really disturbing, considering Power Rangers was originated from Japan, right?
