As previously reported, a scanned toy preview image has surfaced giving us our first look at the recolored Cube animals that was seen in this year's Tokyo Toy Show.
This new Cube Animals will be labeled as Zyuoh Cubes EX Set will have the following: Cube Giraffe, Cube Platypus, Cube Leopard and Cube Owl.
The Zyuoh Cubes EX Set will come in twos and will be released in August for 1,800 yen. The image also states that this cube will not be shown in the series.

Pardon me if I am wrong, but that first one looks like Cube Zebra to me.
For those of you who can't read Japanese, they'll be called by the Japanese animal names in show, just like the current Cube Weapons.
Cube Shimauma = Zebra
Cube Kamonohashi = Platypus
Cube Hyou = Leopard
Cube Fukurou = Owl
What a shame they won't even be used in-show, though. I was hoping for visor-ups for Shark, Lion, Elephant, and Tiger, even if they weren't full-blown Cube Animals.
I'm kinda glad these cube won't appear in the show (but I bet they'll squeeze them in somehow) because what's the point of adding new mechs to the series that already have ones with the same function (except panda because apparently two axes are just fine for some reason?) and besides they still have to add cube bat.
Honestly it's kinda weird I'm complaining about this considering this is excatly what I wanted from Gaoranger & Kyoryuger. Though then again those series set up the fact that there were other mech that were kind of different.
I was hoping for visor-ups for the other Jyuohgers also, instead of only Eagle and TheWorld (do NOT like that name ugh), especially if you look at all of the unused Gaoranger concepts the producers could potentially use.
I think they actually have a plot-related reason for that - the others only have their own Zyuman energy, while Eagle/Gorilla and TheWorld have more than one species of Zyuman energy. Yeah, it'd be nice if the others had Visor-Ups. And that may have been the original plan, but...
They handled the matter well.
Agreed with the unused Gaoranger concepts. 100 zords?! And yet like only 20+ zords that showed up..
Am I the only one who suspects these extra animal cubes will be used in a Zyuohger movie? The blog stated that the cubes would not be in the series, so a movie is possible.
I really hope this isn't the case, but it could turn out to be a Gao Ape scenario. (For those who don't know, there was a gray recolor of Gao Gorilla/Gao Kong called Gao Ape, and it didn't appear in-show at all. It formed what was basically a black Gao Knight.)
Come to think of it, it's been done more than once. Does anyone remember that mysterious Engine Skydor? It was a white recolor of Speedor with a new symbol (an S, if I remember correctly), and it formed a white version of Engine-Oh (at least the top), and it didn't appear in-show either.
I feel like there was also something in Goseiger, and no, not the Exotic Brothers.
Anyway, all this to say, I hope these aren't reduced to toy line -exclusive appearances.
