Here's the latest rumor on Kamen Rider Ex-Aid plus a bunch of trademarked images that gives us a small info regarding the gimmick for the next rider toy series.
Before we go to the rider gears, here is the said rumor for the main guy of the series and please, take this with a grain of salt:
"The main character is a 24-year-old resident physician. However, it isn’t an “emergency” motif but rather a “game” motif. Ex-Aid’s design is similar to a fighter from a fighting game. The helmet’s compound eyes are in the shape of googles, with a pupil-like design in them, and he seems to have spiked hair. The suit is pink and green with geometric line shapes on it."

Other rumors said that this series will again, have multiple riders in it. Hmmm a rider who's motif is a game character? And will it be a fighting game one?

According to the images, Kamen Rider Ex-Aid will transform using the Gamer Driver and he will be armed with the Gashakon Breaker while the Rider Gashut will be this year's collectible merchandise.

I think I liked Ex-Aid better when the rumors were still about a rescue rider. A pink and green default suit just really doesn't appeal to me. I think Decade's design is really the only one where pink works for the default form.
But on the other hand, I suppose it'll fit nicely with Zyuohger's blocky, sort of video game-y motifs.

I agree with you. In all honesty, X-Aid sounds more like a medic than a video game character. And just by looking at the sketch. I could picture him with the majority being hot pink and the accent color with some sort of neon green and in my opinion, it doesn't look to good for a default. I mean it could look good for a special form (probably should call it Neon Rampage) but again not for the original form.
Pink and Green?Wtf?
Decade magenta and black is acceptable,but Pink and GREEN?It would look fucking ridiculous.
Most of the Riders default form is black or at least has black in it and it worked well so far,why change now?
Just look at Ghost Himiko Form,its Pink and Black and still looks ridiculous.
Its already hard to watch Ghost because of its crappy story,bad acting and ridiculous jokes even though Ghost looks cool,imagine if he looked as ridiculous as this Rider seems.
This series will need to have a story on par with Gaim if its going to have such a ridiculous Rider.

Right chest = X (10, roman numeral)
Left chest = 8
all sign are pointing to 18...which is the 18th Kamen Rider of heisei era.
Been dreaming for Megaman/Megaranger theme Kamen Rider all of my life. Hopefully they made the right decision to bring my dream comes true 🙏
A Kamen Rider series based around video games sure sounds interesting. Not feeling the described from as a base form though but it could work as a form change. What I'm thinking is that the rider could have a video game nuetrual base form and form changes based on different video game genres. They could easily use the design described for a fighting game form. Imagine all the possibilities with this concept such as a shooting game form that could heavily change the fighting style and arsenal. Not sure what they could do for any additional riders. Maybe they could do what they did in Ghost where the additional riders continue the motif and gimmick of the main rider. Also, they could go more in depth with the vehicles since there is a racing genre. As a major video game fan this really excites me.

Makes me feel like the different riders would be game characters from different games if anything.We'll see once he is revealed.
I do agree with Ex-Aid sounding more like a rescue/emergency theme, but also I think it's been partially fulfilled by the main character possibly being a physician. However being that this is a video game themed Rider, I definitely have my hopes up. With Zyuohger being based on pixels/blocks, I think this is something that could definitely work and crossovers could be pretty big next year. Ex-Aid may even be able to take on a Rider war style such as in Gaim, where each Rider in said war could be based off a different genre, hence very contrasting powers and suits between each. That being said it'd still be interesting to see how the main character's powers develop even if that didn't happen.
Making power-up forms for a video-game themed Rider seems kind of difficult. I also notice his suit sketch looks kinda like the buttons on a NES controller. Maybe his forms would be evolving through different generations of consoles, like the PlayStation had its successors, each more powerful than the last?
Finally, Gashakon Breaker and Rider Gashut sounds a lot like the Gashapon collectibles that Birth from Kamen Rider OOO was based off of. Could they possibly be somewhat alike? These could definitely go a long way. Then again they don't tie in much to the game motif, but who's to know until later in the year...!
Overall I'm excited to see what Ex-Aid has to bring. I'm a big gamer so this series will definitely be taking a lot of my money and attention. :P
But isn't Ex-Aid supposed to be the NINETEENTH Rider?
@Nicholas Ballway, Ex-Aid will be the 18th main Heisei Rider. Amazons is meant to be a side series remake of Kamen Rider Amazon for Super Hero Year, so we don't count them as main riders.
He has a Nintendo game controller in his chest.
Looking back at this - we see that the rumor about the suit, the sketch, etc are correct. Amazing - considering this sketch looks like it was done by an 8 year old.
