    Look at the cover. "Mook."

  3. Two things:
    1) As you can see on the cover, it's indeed "Mook" and not "Book".

Hello English Professor. The publisher branded it as Mook (Magazine-Book), so it shall remain as Mook.

  5. Anonymous Says:

    You mook, it's a "mook" or magazine/book

  6. Anonymous Says:

Mook is a portmanteau of "magazine" and "book". It's used for publications that are similar to magazines but are intended to stay on bookshelves longer than traditional magazines.

I thought the same... until I saw the first image.

    It's "mook." The heck's a "mook?!"

#anon1, I have no idea why you said that.. It's clearly stated on the cover, official "Mook"

Actually, yes, it's mook. Mook is the combination of 'book' and 'magazine' which is popular in Japan. Check this link if you don't believe me.

Yes, it's "Mook": Magazine Book. This thing is pretty common in Japan.
