Super Hero Time Series Moved To A new Time Slot

After 20 years of early morning action, TV Asahi has announced that they will be moving their Super Hero Time programs to a new time slot beginning this October 2017 to make way for a new program.

This change of schedule is a result of a new Sunday morning news program entitled "Sunday LIVE" (tentative title), 5:50am to 8:30am, in which will singer and actor Noriyuki Higashiyama will be the appointed newscaster.

Here are the list of the morning programs that will be moved to a new schedule:

8:30-9:00 - Kirakira Precure A La Mode
9:00-9:30 - Kamen Rider
9:30-10:00 - Super Sentai

With these new schedules to be implemented this coming October, will it change the ratings of the current Super Hero Time programs knowing that Kamen Rider EX-AID and Kyuranger will clash with Fuji TV's Dragon Ball Super and One Piece schedule?

Not sure if the audience for Super Sentai is the same for Dragon Ball and One Piece.
Kamen Rider though may suffer with that change :(

  2. And I thought I was going to pass metal heroes back. Dreaming until today

Glad they include the Pretty Cure in the mix.

  4. Well, the reason they are so early is because their audience is made of little kids. As in, kids younger than Power Rangers' YT-7. Therefore, they may try to widen the audience to older kids who are into DB and OP.

Yes, let that sink in: Super Sentai and Kamen Rider are being aimed to young kids, which is why they are at such early hours in a Sunday. They are bringing them down to a slightly older audience by making them start a little later.

    Hello there site owner
Do you know the original time for those show in this article
    I want to compare them

@Ndin: The original times for Super Sentai and Kamen Rider were 7:30 and 8:00. The former had this since Megaranger and Kamen Rider since its return to the screens. In comparison, it's an hour/two hour difference between each of them.

I should also want to say that before Sentai had the 7:30 time, it used to be on late Friday afternoons.

Aw, CRAP! This could be bad! :-(

  8. 7:30 am for Super Sentai slot since Megaranger episode 6 aired in 1997 and 8:00 am for Kamen Rider series since 2000 beginning with Kuuga.

Well, It's good news, right? At least Kids won't wake up early morning to see their favorite shows, They will just watch them after they woke up from their bed in their favorite time like 8 AM for example.I mean why would people think it's bad for the Superhero time Block?

Though what's disappointing for me is that Pretty Cure is airing before Superhero time ,They should have air it after that Block so that they will have boy anime to air after Pretty Cure or before Pretty Cure, Though my side made me wish there should be a shounen version of Pretty Cure aiming for a young male demographic making it a 'brother' sibling of the Pretty Cure franchise which you can find out in this Reddit thread: https://www.reddit.com/r/anime/comments/5gjok9/discsomething_feels_missing_in_the_toeitv_asahi/
