Unlike the live action version of the 90's, this new Gridman can combine with each machine that can boost his fighting abilities! For example, the God Tank is the power type while the Twin Driller is more on weapons. And lastly, the Thunder Jet is the speed type.
As for the God Zenon combination, we can see that the Twin Driller is now the main body while the Thunder Jet is the arm and the God Tank forms the legs. Same goes for the Thunder Gridman combination in which the Driller is the main body, the forms are arms and the Jet forms the legs.
