According to Kirk Schneck, the attorney for Lee's daughter, Stan was rushed to the Cidar Senai Medical center from his home in Los Angeles where he later passed away. Cause of death is still unknown but other sources say that it was due to pneumonia that he has last year.

Stan lee work on Timely Comics way back in 1939, which became Marvel Comics where he created iconic superheroes like Iron Man, Captain America, X-Men and Spider-man which was adapted in Japan and eventually lead to the creation of the Super Sentai series known to many as Battle Fever J.

What's really sad is the grief he got from those harassment charges towards the end of his life, instead of enjoying a dignified retirement. :(
