A sad day has hit the Power Rangers community today as Samoan born New Zealand actor Pua Magasiva, famous for his role as Shane Clarke/Red Wind Ranger of Power Rangers Ninja Storm passed away at the age of 38.
The actor was reportedly found dead in Wellington and the reason for his death is still unknown as of this writing. He was married to Lizz Sadler last year. His co-star, Jason Chang (Green Samurai Ranger) commented "It's sad to hear that one of our family member in our ranger family has left and it will never be the same again. He was the center of energy on and off the set and was always laughing and participates in practical jokes".

I liked Ninja Storm too. It' s really sad. When Thuy Trang passed away, I was 7 and I didn't even know about this. After years I read the info, and about Peta Rutter too. My condolences :(
This is terrible news. I loved Ninja Storm, and to hear one of them is gone, saddens me to pieces. I really wish Ninja Steel had adapted the episode with Hurricane Red and Ninja Red, just so we could see Shane one last time.
