Thanks to this report from Hollywood Reporter, it was announced that Ludi Lin, who portrayed the role of Zack the Black Ranger from 2017's Power Rangers reboot movie, has landed the role of the lead earth realm warrior from the upcoming Mortal Kombat reboot movie along with some other cast who's roles were also revealed!
Also joining Ludi lin are Mehcad Brooks as Sonya Blade's comrade-in-arms, Major Jackson "Jax" Briggs, Sisi Stringer as Mileena, the daughter of outworld warlord Shao Khan, Tadanobu Asano as the thunder god Raiden and Joe Taslim as Lin Kuei assassin Sub-Zero.
The upcoming Mortal Kombat reboot movie, to be released on March 5, 2021, will be directed by Simon McQuiod who will be making his directorial debut, will be written by Greg Russo and will be produced by Todd Garner with Larry Kasanoff, Bennett Walsh, Michael Clear and Sean Robins as the movie's executive producers.
