Just when you thought that its gonna be a rainy day on a thursday night, we have just received news that the kick-@$$ Strega movie has just snagged awards and nominations in this year's Yellow Fever Independent Film Festival in Ireland!
Garage Hero's Strega was awarded "Best Action Film" and "Best Grindhouse Film" and was also nominated "Audience Choice" and "Most Memorable Film" at the said indie film awards.
And here's a few tidbits:
"- Strega is currently screening all over Tokyo and is being hailed by many Japanese viewers as "Kamen Rider meets Deadpool". We have screenings scheduled ongoing into next year.
- Thanks to Strega, Bueno got scouted by Pink Eiga production company "OP Picutres" and in talks about a possible Pink action movie which will later be released internationally with English subs.
- Strega got nominated at the Yellow Fever Independent Film Festival for "Audience Choice Award" as well as the "Graeme Livingstone Award for most memorable film" and won awards for both "Best Action Film" and "Best Grindhouse Film" (when was the last tokusatsu that won an award?
