The official Warner Bros. Japan website for Rurouni Kenshin the movie announces the addition of Mackenyu Arata to the cast!
Mackenyu will play the role of Enishi Yukishiro, the main villain of this arc.
In the original source manga/anime, Enishi is the younger brother of Tomoe Yukishiro, Kenhin Himura's late wife, making Enishi his former brother-in law.
Enishi seeks Kenshin to avenge his sister's death, which comprises the Jinchu arc of the manga/anime.
Rurouni Kenshin "The Final" will hit theaters on July 3, 2020, followed by "The Beginning" on August 7, 2020.
