Cosplay Crafter Creates Voltes V Figurine Out Of Rubber

Voltes V

In the hype of the upcoming Philippine live-action adaptation of Chodenji Machine Voltes V, a Pinoy cosplayer/costume maker has made a figure of the titular Super Robot made of EVA rubber foam and is almost on par with the recently released SOC Volt-In-Box Voltes V.

This awesome Voltes V rubber figure was made by Quezon local John Rey, a member of Project 8, a well-known tokusatsu cosplay group in the Philippines, and is also a good friend of Pinoy hero helmet maker Kamen Rider Nimoy, and is one of the many people that inspired yours truly to enter the world of costume making.

The highly detailed figure was painstakingly made using various thicknesses of EVA rubber foam, from 2mm up to 6mm. Now, this is what I call an awesome job that every Pinoy fan would be proud of. If you want to have one commissioned for you, just visit his official facebook page and send him a private message.
