Singer Nobuo Yamada, also known as NoB, has passed away. He was 61 years old.
In a tweet from his agency, it was revealed that Nobuo Yamada passed away due to kidney cancer on August 9, 2025.
Nobuo Yamada became famous as the vocalist if MAKE-UP, with their song "Pegasus Fantasy" from Saint Seiya.
He also performed the opening theme songs for GoGo Sentai Boukenger and Tensou Sentai Goseiger, and is one of the singers for the opening theme of Super Sentai Strongest Battle.
