It's going to be the beginning of an all-new superhero franchise as Toei and TV-Asahi finally announced the new hero, complete with logo and teaser image, who will be leading their new series! Ladies and gentlemen, behold, PROJECT R.E.D.!
PROJECT R.E.D ( which stands for Records of Extraordinary Dimensions), is the newest project that Toei will be introducing next year and will feature cutting edge visuals and production techniques.
This will merge the Super Sentai and Metal Hero franchise into one, creating a new brand called Universe Heroes with the premiere series being entitled as Super Space Sheriff Gavan Infinity.
And as the project's title implies, the main hero will wear a metallic red combat suit. The new series will replace the Super Sentai franchise from its current timeslot in the Super Hero Time program with more information coming this 30th of November 2026 so be sure to tune in.
