Digimon Fusion to Air on Nickelodeon

As we all know, the most recent anime, Digimon Xros Wars, will be dubbed in the West as “Digimon Fusion”. Saban Brands had announced that it will air on Nickelodeon this year.

Description of the series from the announcement material:
Digimon Fusion is the all-new animated series and sixth installment of the Digimon franchise, the longest-running Japanese anime property. The series will feature all-new Digimon action and excitement following Mikey, a human boy, who is transported into the digital realm and must team up with his new “Digimon” or “Digital Monster” friends before their world is deleted once and for all. New fusion powers allow Digimon to combine and fuse their abilities to create endless battle possibilities.

Saban Brands had aired its first promo last October for potential broadcasters and distributors at the MIPCOM event in Cannes, France.

Digimon Xros Wars is divided into three major story arcs: Xros Wars, The Evil Death Generals and the Seven Kingdoms, and The Young Hunters Who Leapt Through Time, with a total of 79 episodes.
