Final Fantasy X | X-2 HD Remaster Gets Western Release


The PlayStation Blog announces that the upcoming release of Final Fantasy X | X-2 HD Remaster for the PlayStation 3 will be heading to North American territories later this year.

Fans can easily relive the story of Tidus and Yuna without buying another disc for the PlayStation 3, but PSVita versions of the game will be sold separately. It is said that a new trailer will released by Monday. In the meantime, indulge in these HD screencaps from the game.



Originally released in 2001 for the PlayStation 2, Final Fantasy X took place in Spira, as the story revolves around a group of adventurers and their quest to defeat a rampaging monster known as Sin. Tidus, a blitzball star finds himself in Spira after his home city of Zanarkand was destroyed by Sin. He later joins the summoner Yuna on her pilgrimage to destroy Sin.
