Ninpuu Sentai Hurricaneger Celebrates its 10th Year Anniversary

TOEI started streaming a video featuring the stars and staffs of the 2002 Super Sentai series, Ninpuu Sentai Hurricaneger, announcing that fans should watch out for an "announcement" this coming April 1st. It's been 10 years since show ended.

The three lead stars, Shun Shioya, Nao Nagasawa and Kohei Yamamoto, were last seen together in the Ninpuu Sentai Hurricaneger tribute episode in the 35th Super Sentai Anniversary series Kaizoku Sentai Gokaiger, where the three of them reprises their roles as Yusuke, Nanami and Kouta, respectively.

  1. I smell April Fools, and this would be more believable if posted near the end date of Hurricanger.

  2. I mean this is obviously an April fools joke because if Hurricaneger started in 2002 then it would be the 11th anniversary

  3. Easy to think that, given the date. But something this official coming from Toei leads me to think otherwise...

  4. It seems highly likely that it will be an April fools joke since it's on that date. But maybe it's not. If I have to guess what the "announcement" might be (if there really is one) maybe a full team return at Super Hero Taisen Z or Akibaranger? Also I have a feeling the next sentai or rider series might be ninja themed.

  5. If only this show was sub. To bad sub groups need to waste there time with resubbing a show that is meh. *Looks at Mega Anon with subbing goseiger*

    1. You know, the HK for hurricaneger are actually pretty good. Don't believe me? compare episode 5 with skewed studios' and haroranger's subs.

  7. Dont forget that Nao Nagasawa is supposed to guest star in Kyoryuger. This "announcement" might have something to do with her appearance in the show. Just saying.

  8. That was a fun show. I liked the battles and Ikkou and Kouta are great characters.

Still, Nanami is overrated and ugly.
