Ninpuu Sentai Hurricaneger V-Cinema Announced

The official Facebook page for the 10th anniversary celebration of Ninpuu Sentai Hurricaneger had officially announced the upcoming release of Ninpuu Sentai Hurricaneger: 10 Years After V-Cinema. The ninjas are now back, 10 years after the group fought the Jakanja, facing a new threat.

Shun Shioya, Nao Nagasawa and Kohei Yamamoto will be reprising their respective roles as Yosuke Shiina / Hurricane Red, Nanami Nono / Hurricane Blue and Kouta Bitou / Hurricane Yellow respectively. The three lead stars were last seen together in the Ninpuu Sentai Hurricaneger tribute episode in the 35th Super Sentai Anniversary series Kaizoku Sentai Gokaiger.

The staff are also planning to bring back Yujiro Shirakawa as Ikkou Kasumi / Kabuto Raiger, Nobuo Kyo as Isshu Kasumi / Kuwaga Raiger, Shoko Takada as Oboro Hinata, Ken Nishida as Mugensai Hinata, Azusa Yamamoto as Furabijou, and Mio Fukumizu as Wendinu.

Since the release are planned by both Nagasawa and Yamamoto, they will be the V-Cinema's associate producers, with Jun Hikasa and Hideaki Tsukada as executive producers, and Kazuo Katou and Takeshi Nakano as producers.

This release will be available in Collector's Pack for 10,290 yen, Blu-Ray Disc for 5775 yen and 4725 yen for the DVD version. As of writing, there's no additional information on the contents of the release. Directed by Katsuya Watanabe, with scripts from Hurricaneger's head writer Junichi Miyashita, Ninpuu Sentai Hurricaneger: 10 Years After V-Cinema will be released on August 9th.

  3. "The staff are also planning to bring back... "

That's Ikkou's actor in the announcement beside the core 3 right? And they actually mentioned that Isshu's couldn't come because he's having a play/theatre work to do at the time they were blowing candles....

I think it's NOT April fools, why the hell do they make a website and all?
