The Hurricaneger Cast, 10 Years After


On April 1st, TOEI announced the upcoming release of a Ninpuu Sentai Hurricaneger V-Cinema, entitled “Ninpuu Sentai Hurricaneger: 10 Years After” this August. Check out the full team, and villains, as the wear their costumes, 10 years after the show originally ended.



Shun Shioya, Nao Nagasawa and Kohei Yamamoto will be reprising their respective roles as Yosuke Shiina / Hurricane Red, Nanami Nono / Hurricane Blue and Kouta Bitou / Hurricane Yellow respectively. The three lead stars were last seen together in the Ninpuu Sentai Hurricaneger tribute episode in the 35th Super Sentai Anniversary series Kaizoku Sentai Gokaiger.

Also present are Yujiro Shirakawa as Ikkou Kasumi / Kabuto Raiger, Nobuo Kyo as Isshu Kasumi / Kuwaga Raiger, Azusa Yamamoto as Furabijou, and Mio Fukumizu as Wendinu.

This release will be available in Collector's Pack for 10,290 yen, Blu-Ray Disc for 5775 yen and 4725 yen for the DVD version. Directed by Katsuya Watanabe, with scripts from Hurricaneger's head writer Junichi Miyashita, Ninpuu Sentai Hurricaneger: 10 Years After V-Cinema will be released on August 9th.

    I wonder why they chose to specifically celebrate the anniversery of hurricanger. Can't remember them doing something similar for other sentai series. They should definately do Shinkenger in a couple of years though.

    Anyone know where I can torrent a subbed version this series?
    I've been wanting to watch it for quite some time but no one has it and a bunch of links were taken down before I got the chance to download.

    While I'm at it, I would like to also find links to Abaranger and carranger.

    Of course this invalidates Boukenger VS Super Sentai. Continuities in crossovers are... meh.

    Well Anon the Hurricanger cast and crew all remained good friends and have wanted to do something like this for quite some time. They were able to convince Toei to let them do a special OVA for the 10th anniversary.

    So this wasn't really Toei saying "Lets do more Hurricanger" this was the Hurricanger team saying "Can we do more Hurricanger?"

    actually I think the reason its Hurricaneger is because thats the one cast they can get back together quickly and cheaply.
