After returning this week, pirate manga One Piece will again go on hiatus this week. Author Eiichiro Oda stated he is drawing the manga at a more measured pace while he works towards a full recovery, out of his editors' concerns.
The next One Piece manga chapter will resume on this year's 31st issue of Shonen Jump. Oda had just returned from a two week hiatus after being hospitalized for a peritonsillar abscess, a complication due to an infection caused by tonsillitis.
[SPOILER] In the most recent chapter, Chapter 710 "To Green Bit", Luffy goes to talk to Bellamy, who is being carried away along with the other defeated fighters. Bellamy tells Luffy that his cheering crushed his pride, unknowingly revealing Luffy's identity to Bartolomeo who overheard them.
