TV Tokyo started streaming the promotional video for the TV special “Mewtwo: Prologue to the Awakening”, which acts as a prequel to the upcoming July 13th anime film, Pokémon the Movie: ExtremeSpeed Genesect: Mewtwo's Awakening.
Focusing on Mewtwo's history, goals, and how it became the strongest Pokémon, the special is set before Mewtwo meets Pokémon franchise protagonist Ash and his friends in the upcoming film's storyline.
The 2-hour special will air on July 11th at 7:00pm.
So its a different Mewtwo? or is it a case of being captured by another group and experiment on? These are the questions that have yet been answer.
