Revealed previously at a TV news report, a new movie poster had been released officially announcing that the live action adaptation of the action comedy manga “Kuroshitsuji” (Black Butler) will premiere on January 18th, 2014.
Led by Hiro Mizushima (Kamen Rider Kabuto) and Ayame Gouriki (Gatchaman), the film is set in the year 2020, 130 years after the original manga, at an Asian city where Western and Asian cultures freely intermingle. Since only males can take the reins of the family, Shiori dons male clothes, and took the name Kiyoharu to lead the massive Phantom Corporation.
The Black Butler live action film is directed by Kentaro Otani (NANA) and anime creator Keiichi Sato (Tiger & Bunny).
