Kamen Rider Gaim Henshin Previewed

After all the massive news about the 15th Heisei Kamen Rider series yesterday, here's a TV news report about the KAMEN RIDER GAIM press event, and a preview on his transformation. LOCK ON!

Kamen Rider Gaim is Kota Kazuraba, the 2nd dancer for "Team Gaim" but eventually stopped playing the game and left to look for a job, and protect his lonely sister. He's a nice guy, and "protecting people" is his very reason in fighting. He accidentally found the Sengoku Driver. His catchphrase: “Passing through the audience, On Stage!

To premiere on October 6th, Kamen Rider Gaim will be directed by Ryuta Tasaki (Hikonin Sentai Akibaranger) and and Takayuki Shibasaki, with scripts from Gen Urobuchi (Puella Magi Madoka Magica, Gargantia on the Verdurous Planet). The show was produced by Motoi Sasaki (TV Asahi) and Naomi Takebe (Toei).

  2. Lock on!
I like the sound of the belt. And the look of it. It's simple, yet shows off the theme well.

  3. So THAT's why it's called LOCK seeds... because it's an actual LOCK!
Cards (Decade), Usb flash disc (W), medals (OOO), switch (Fourze), Rings (Wizard) and now... locks. Wow, talk about creative!

  6. Seeing all the riders before the series even starts gave me an idea for an interesting series concept. What if they did a series about a rider who isn't the first one to appear in the show? Like it focuses on the secondary rider becoming stronger than one that is already fighting monsters?

  7. Looks like you might have yourself a female rider off the bat(inb4 dead halfway through series). Enjoy your faps.

In all seriousness, though, I hate the design of the main rider, but knowing that there are 5 (so far maybe?) riders, with ones that actually look decent-good, I'm down for it.

Bring on Fruit Ninj- I mean, Kamen Rider Gaim!

  8. as interesting as Gaim looks, I didn't think that the belt would look so... boring

  9. This new rider series has aspects of Kabuto the same way Wizard has similar aspects of Hibiki. All riders have the same belt where they insert their personal extraterrestrial gadget, 5 main riders, A rich kid rider. (I'm just making the observations, not complaining.) As alwasys I am excider for this new season to begin!.. But also a bit sad becasue Wizard is soooo damn good.

  10. LOL he looks like shunpei

  11. I hope the belt is as subdued as it sounds in this clip. I've had enough of singing belts that often present a tonal clash with the gravity of a dramatic situation when a Rider gets up to fight. However, at least Wizard has been quietening down on its belt lately.

This show premise sounds so stupid. Bring it on!

  18. Another unmanly looking rider but those lock seeds are a clever design. I'm a little nervous after finding out that Gen Urobuchi is a writer but I really wanna see the first episode.

  19. This is just pathetic!!!

  21. >Gen Urobushi writing scripts
I can't help but relate the Lock Seed to the Grief Seed from madoka

  22. With Urobuchi writing the script I have a feeling that at least one (or more) of those Riders will die..

  23. so the 6 here was for the lock shape, eh~
