TOEI Registers "Kamen Norida" Trademark

Last June 11th, TOEI registers the trademark for "Kamen Norida" (仮面ノリダー), which was later made public on July 4th, along with the trademark for "Rider Musou". No actual confirmation on where will they use the name, but Kamen Norida was previously a parody of the Kamen Rider series back in the 80's.

Kamen Norida was a regular skit by the Tunnels back in the 80's to early 90's. The comedy duo made this parody without consent from the creators. Here's a sample clip from Kamen Norida:

So, there they planning to revive this old show and make something like Hikonin Sentai Akibaranger? So far, all we got is the registered trademark, and more information will become available in the coming months.

  2. If kamen norida is a going to be a parody of kamen rider i have a feeling that not only it will follow the akibaranger root but also there is going to be a parody of the super hero taisen films starring "kamen norida and the akibarangers"

  3. Akibaranger Vs Kamen Norida
I bet this will happen if Kamen Norida IS a direct parody similarly to Akibaranger

  5. NO NO NO!!! Please don't make an akibaranger-esqe show for kamen rider. I rather have them bring back Kamen Rider G, he was a badass. I hope this isn't going to be a show. Maybe just a clothing line or something. On a side note, that is a really sick article picture.

  7. Kamen Norida can't be compared to Akibaranger: Kamen Norida is BETTER!
Takeshi Nihashi, Kamen Norida's alter ego, is assisted by the original Tachibana Tobei, played by Akiji Kobayashi.
