Apart from a higher resolution of the announcement poster for the 15th Heisei Kamen Rider series, KAMEN RIDER GAIM, a new toy catalog scan show the upcoming forms/arms for the show's 5th rider: Griton.
Earlier toy catalogs reveal the Kamen Rider Gaim uses Orange Arms as his default form, and can also use the Strawberry, Pineapple and Watermelon Arms. Riders Baron have Banana, Ryugen uses Grapes and Zangetsu uses Melon. There's also Kiwi and Manga Arms but the user/s is yet to be revealed.
To premiere on October 6th, Kamen Rider Gaim will be directed by Ryuta Tasaki (Hikonin Sentai Akibaranger) and Takayuki Shibasaki, with scripts from Gen Urobuchi (Puella Magi Madoka Magica, Gargantia on the Verdurous Planet). The show was produced by Motoi Sasaki (TV Asahi) and Naomi Takebe (Toei).

Durian?! It was ok as a joke, but they're really using it?! Oh man what were they thinking... But as the saying goes, don't judge a rider by his lock seed. Not really sure if I'm going to take this seriously, though. I hope gaim is one of those funny rider types (den-o) and I really hope he's funnier...

Well it looks like Durian isn't Gaim's final form. I still say Gaim's final is fruit basket or garden.

ReplyDeleteGriton is looking to be my favorite rider so far. Although, I thought he was a coconut, not an acorn. Either way it works, he is the best designed rider in my opinion. I can see him being the kind but strong character. I hope these arms are his. I want know about him even more.

So apparently the king of fruits durian is a joke but oranges, strawberries etc.. are not. You idiots. Well anyway I expected Gaim to have durian as his final form since it looks so cool and powerful. But no the other rider gets it. Which means most likely Gaim's final form will be a fruit salad!

It's just that many think that the fruit concept is too-outlandish for the darker and grittier brother of super sentai, the kamen rider franchise. I, for one, also think that the costumes are awesome, though the concept is still funny...

ReplyDeleteIt's like this Karmen Rider show just keeps jumping the shark. Every thing bad about it just keeps getting worse. Kamen Rider was great, but this Karmen Rider guy is a joke that should die like Disco. Saban Power Ranger Megaforce looking better then this fruit basket of a bad show.

I know a lot of people like it but I'm not feeling this show yet, I'm not pumped in the slightest. I thought wizard looked cool from the get go but the suits for this show just seems like stuff thrown on more stuff and mashed together with really weird flowless color pallets. The colors and armor for most riders I've seen just isn't very flattering or interesting to me. Ill see it in action and make up my mind but the break dancing thing and fruit stuff just so far isn't for me. If people like it that's cool and who knows might be good but I just dont feel it yet.
