A new footage for the live action adaptation of the action comedy manga “Kuroshitsuji” (Black Butler) had been released celebrating Japan's "Kuro Day", a wordplay on both "black" and "9/6".
Last July, the film had released its first teaser.
Led by Hiro Mizushima (Kamen Rider Kabuto) and Ayame Gouriki (Gatchaman), the film is set in the year 2020, 130 years after the original manga, at an Asian city where Western and Asian cultures freely intermingle. Since only males can take the reins of the family, Shiori dons male clothes, and took the name Kiyoharu to lead the massive Phantom Corporation.
Directed by Kentaro Otani (NANA) and anime creator Keiichi Sato (Tiger & Bunny), the “Black Butler” live action film premieres January 18th, 2014.
I'd take this over "The Butler" Take that Oprah.
