The 2013 spin-off based on the popular Gatchaman anime series, Gatchaman Crowds, is confirmed to have a second season. The new season will be airing at NTV, and details regarding the broadcast and staff will be announced later on.
Set in the city of Tachikawa, Japan, the Gatchaman are warriors who fight to protect the city using their special reinforced suits powered by the manifestation of their spiritual powers called NOTE. With the recruitment of their newest member, Hajime Ichinose, the team must deal with their greatest threat, Berg Katze, an enigmatic alien creature bent on destroying Earth just like it did with several other planets in the past.
The new season will be dubbed as "Gatchaman Crowds Second".
