In commemoration for the transition from the old http://kokaku-a.com domain name to the new http://kokaku-a.jp address, the Ghost in the Shell: Arise original anime video series gets a web exclusive episode entitled "[.jp]". The three-minute episodes features an original character design for Motoko Kusanagi.
The episode also shows the first depiction of the innermost depths of the cyber network world, as well as the debut of an original enemy character.
Meanwhile, the series second episode "border:2 Ghost Whispers" will premiere on November 30th, with Blu-Ray & DVD release on December 25th. Ghost in the Shell: Arise was produced by Production I.G, with Kazuchika Kise as chief director and Tow Ubukata as head writer.
