Near the end of today's episode of Kamen Rider Gaim, two new Armored Riders made their appearance in front of our heroes. They are Armored Riders Gridon and Kurokage, who seems to ally themselves with Team Baron. Check out their transformation sequence.

Gridon is Hideyasu Jonouchi, the leader of Team Invitto, who uses the Acorn Lock Seed to transform. Meanwhile, Kurokage is Hase Ryoji, the leader of Team Raid Wild, and uses the Pinecone Lock Seed to transform.
Kurokage definitely looks like one of those Rider foot soldiers (￣▽￣)

ReplyDelete@Anon1 That's because the design is based on past Japanese foot soldiers. I personally don't like the design - seems degrading. But it was a class C lockseed.

ReplyDeleteapparently the henshin music is based on their armor theme, since kurokage is japanese, gridon is one of the western armor themes, i think it's understandable.
@anon 2 no, i suspect that every japanese-styled rider will have similar tune like gaim and so does european typed rider similar to baro

Considering the amount of Riders I wonder if each gets a theme song.

ReplyDeleteeven Zangetsu's tune is the same as Gaim, so I don't think there's any problem if some riders share the same tune
