Final Fantasy X | X-2 HD Gets Collector's Edition
To be available exclusively at the Square Enix Online Store, a Final Fantasy X | X-2 HD Remaster Collector's Edition will be released in North American territories. The bundle includes various bonuses and will costs $79.99.
The collector's edition comes with both Final Fantasy X and Final Fantasy X-2 HD remasters with a 40-page art book, visual soundtrack that runs with over six hours of music, and five lithographs featuring art and characters from the games. Meanwhile, Europe's collector's edition will include a 48-page art book, but price is yet to be announced.
Additionally, Square Enix also confirms that the PSVita version of the game's western release will be available by the same time as the console version, on March 18th, 2014, followed by Europe on March 21th. This version will be priced at $39.99. [PRE-ORDER HERE!]
Originally released in 2001 for the PlayStation 2, Final Fantasy X took place in Spira, as the story revolves around a group of adventurers and their quest to defeat a rampaging monster known as Sin. Tidus, a blitzball star finds himself in Spira after his home city of Zanarkand was destroyed by Sin. He later joins the summoner Yuna on her pilgrimage to destroy Sin.
