Teenagers who smokes has been a problem nowadays. With this, Okayama prefecture has released an educational DVD that advises minors not to smoke.
In the video, a school basketball player whose endurance had fell due to his smoking habits was discovered smoking by his crush and her friends, so they stopped showing to watch and support him during practice.
According to a 2010 survey, about 3.3 percent of high school boys and 1.2 percent of high school girls in Okayama prefecture smoke. The prefecture has set a goal to completely eliminate smoking among high schoolers.
