After Fuji TV has announced the voice cast for the upcoming return of the Dragon Ball Kai anime, it was also announced that Videl will be voiced by a new actress.
Yuko Minaguchi (Sailor Moon's Hotaru/Sailor Saturn), who is currently in hiatus and eager to follow her dream to study abroad, will be replaced by voice Actress Shino Kakinuma (Naru Osaka from Sailor Moon).
Minaguchi still managed to voice videl in the previous Dragon Ball Z film, Dragon Ball Z: Battle of Gods, even though she was in hiatus at that time.
Dragon Ball Kai returns on April 6 at 9 am on Fuji TV and will cover the entire Majin Buu saga.
