Japan's National Police Agency recently posted a poster featuring a cycling Patlabor with a message that reads:
"The Special Vehicles Unit Second Section has an announcement: Bicycles as well as vehicles must follow Traffic rules."

The new live action Patlabor series premiered on April 5 and will be comprised by 7 shorts and a feature-length film that will be released during the Golden Week this May while the second film in the series will premier on May 31 at the Shinjuku Piccadilly in Tokyo.
A life-sized model of the Labor has already been erected to commemorate the film's arrival.
