Good news for all hardcore fans of KITE: the live-action adaptation of Yasuomi Umetsu's action anime from 1998 will be premiering on selected theaters this friday.
The film was shown at Otakon and then it premiered on DirecTV on August 28. The movie will also be available via Video On Demand beside being shown on selected theaters.
The film stars Samuel L. Jackson (Avengers, Captain America: The Winter Soldier, Django Unchained), India Eisley (Underworld: Awakening, The Secret Life of the American Teenager), and Callan McAuliffe (The Great Gatsby).
Anchor Bay will also be offering the movie on Blu-ray and DVD this October 13.
