It seems like 2015 will be a big year for Masamune Shirow's critically acclaimed anime masterpiece, Ghost in the shell, as a new series has been confirmed to start airing this coming April,
Entitled Ghost in the shell: Arise, this will mark the return of the series after a long, 10 year hiatus since Ghost in the shell: Stand Alone Complex and Ghost in the shell: Stand Alone Complex 2nd Gig.
Not only that, a live-action Hollywood version is also in the works starring Avengers star Scarlet Johansson. Now this is certainly a great way to celebrate Ghost in the shell's 25th anniversary.
