The series hasn't even started yet but rumors of a sixth member for the Ninninger have started to spread like it was peanut butter on bread. As usual, take this with a grain of salt (unless you want to add it on that peanut butter sandwich).

"The 6th Ninninger will be called Starninger and will transform using the Ninja Star Burger (3980 yen).
His weapon would be the Star Swordgun (4500 yen), and will be sold along with the Furai Nin Shuriken, a Shuriken controlling wind and thunder.
His robot would be Rodeomaru that is going to combine with the King Bison Buggy to form Bison King (6800 yen). Shurikenjin and Bison King will combine to form King Shurikenjin.
Third auxiliary mecha, Surfermaru will combine with Shurikenjin to form Shurikenjin Surfer (2800 yen)."

Thtas crazy but shruiken gold from shinkenger had a sushi morpher.

ReplyDeleteSo according to this rumor we'll have a burger loving american cowboy ninja, that's "interesting". I don't really like the idea of a burger as a henshin device (unless it's for a cooking themed sentai), but the rest doesn't sound so bad. Guess I'll have to wait and see what happens. Also I predict him to be gold maybe with some brown or black ( if he had a sharif's vest in his costume including tassels I'd probably laugh), and that he'll be a bit of a gag character like Gai from shinkenger.

ReplyDeleteNo need to be puzzled, Shinken Gold uses a Sushi Changer (complete with the gesture of sushi making for his morph sequence). The more the resemblances to that show, actually...

@Anon5 It would be really dope if they actually cast a foreigner, a SoCal american (or japanese american) ninja to add quirkiness to the show. Even the first Ninja-based sentai, Kakuranger had an actual American in its team.
@Anon9 I'm guessing the color will be either Black, or Green. Not really hoping it'll be Silver or Gold, but it does seems that's gonna be the case though.
