Another sad news has hit the tokusatsu industry and fandom as Joe Odagiri (known for his role as Kamen Rider Kuuga) and Yuu Kashii's (Odagiri's wife) son passed away at the age of 1 due to intestinal complications.
Odagiri, along with his wife, released this official press release on various Japanese media outlets last April 24 and according to Odagiri's agency, his son was diagnosed with intestinal ileus (a disruption in the intestinal movement) and went surgery last April 14. His situation worsened and passed away on April 20.
Let us all extend our prayers and condolence to the family of the man who reignited the Kamen Rider Franchise way back in 2000.
