Summer of 2017 will be more steamy as Printemps Publishing's Canna magazine announced on Twitter last Saturday that Yuki Fumino's Hidamari ga Kikoeru (I Hear the Sunspot) boys-love (BL) manga will have it's live-action film adaptation.

The film will star Hideya Tawada (Shuriken Sentai Ninninger) as Kohei Sugihara and Akira Onodera (Rinsho Hanzai Gakusha Himura Hideo no Suiri) as Taiichi Sagawa.
The manga is about a college student, Kohei Sugihara, who distanced himself from others unknowingly because his difficulty of hearing and it causes one misunderstanding after another. One day a classmate his,Taiichi, crossed paths with him and notices his delicious bento. Taiichi later finds out from others that Kohei is hearing impaired. Taiichi with his bright personality to the point of foolishness blurted out to Kohei "It's not your fault that you can't hear!" and what begins a a relationship that's more than friends, but less than lovers.
