Saint Seiya? No its not! Check-out this new wave of Uchuu Sentai Kyuuranger scans from the latest issue of Terebi magazine featuring our close look at the first power-up for the series, the Dancing Star Pegasus Shishi Red!
This power-up can be achieved when Lucky activates the Pegasus Kyutama. In this form, he is wears a protective Pegasus armor, has incredible speed and the moves of a great dancer thus the name Dancing Star comes comes in.
Can the other Kyuuranger use this form or is it another Red Ranger exclusive power-up that's been running rampant since Kyoryuger?

ReplyDeleteOf course it's not Saint Seiya. Saint Seiya had good looking armor designs and knew how to spread power ups to the whole main cast.
ReplyDeleteWell, Ninninger have the Red one use the Chouzetsu most of the time, the rest of them only use like once or twice in the whole course of the show.
ReplyDeleteToQger.....not too bad since everyone can go Hyper mode. But of course I do not count ToQ 1 Rainbow though.
Zyuohger did not do so well in the Red Exclusive power up category (Well, Yamato is really OP, apart from the World), and Kyoryuger....while I do not watch this particular Sentai, I have to say that this Red has a LOT MORE POWER-UPS than the rest of the team. So thumbs down to this.
This looks like it can be shared. The armor's generic enough. From what I Saw of the Hikari Kyutama earlier, it's not as generic and would take more effort for the costume department to carry over.

ReplyDeleteI really hope this is not exclusive to Red. It already makes the team obsolete in a 5 man cell, and here we have 9(with more to come). It would just be stupid to make the rest of the team appear weak, and helpless. And besides, I would love to see them make a hulking chest piece for Black.
ReplyDeleteI don't get the red love anymore. Like, none of the past reds are leaders I would follow. They all seem so plot lucky (no punt intended). I miss the good reds. And by good, I mean SHINKENERED SHIBA TAKERU. And by red, I mean SHINKENRED SHIBA TAKERU.
