Thanks to the good news that was brought by Oricon, Gavan, Dekared, Dekagreen, Dekapink and Dekamaster will guest star in the 18th episode of Uchuu Sentai Kyuranger for a special crossover that will promote the upcoming SPACE SQUAD movie.
Confirmed guest actors and actress from the movie will be Yuma Ishigaki, Ryuji Sanei along with Yosuke Itou, Mika Kikuchi which was confirmed via their twitter account. The episode will premiere in June 11th and was written by Dekaranger scribe Naruhisa Arakawa who was also tasked to write 2 episodes for the series.
As for the story, Madakko has stolen the Pyxis Kyutama and the Kyurangers pursue their enemy via a black hole where they encountered Gavan and Dekared and gets arrested for illegal space travel charges. Will this meeting explain what happened to the other Super Sentai team or will this just leave fans thinking?

Kyuranger takes place in a parallel universe right? I mean the Earth was already run by Jark Matter before the series started and there seemed to be no other Super Sentai or Kamen Rider to defend it.
ReplyDeleteAfter Decade toei made a policy that all series have to be in the same universe. So yes kyuranger is in the same universe. And besides this the've already cameod in Zyuohger vs Ninninger and had two crossovers with Kamen rider ex-aid.

That might be where the black hole comes in. Might spit them out to the Dekaranger (or Super Sentai for those who believe it's all one continuity) universe.

Both lucky and Ban teaming up here makes sense because they're red (they both also act like shonen characers.) and I really like that Gavan is teaming up with Hebiskai Silver/Naga considering they are both silver senshi's. I hope the episode make sense and don't make it like an ass pull like the ex-aid cross over. Nevertheless, I'm excited.
